We have got good reason not to vote for Boris, and we are all very tired of hearing the reason. Other parties should start telling us just why we should vote for them.

Although Boris will very likely have a vote of no confidents against him, its very unlikely to go any further. 54 letters against him, but getting the required number of votes to remove him, a very different matter.

Zero chance of that.

It would be political suicide for the Tories and even though MPs are far from the sharpest knives on most topics they are somewhat better on recognising what might put them at risk of having to do a proper job again.

I wouldn't be surprised if this master of mendacity and connivance hasn't orchestrated this symposium? He knows the thought of 'The Ginger Growler and her Mob' scares the daylights out of the Tory 'blue-rinse' brigade, let alone the sycophantic bunch of overpaid flunkeys he heads, scared stiff of losing their £85k salaries and exorbitant expenses.

He knows any attempt to get rid of him via his MP's would be doomed to failure, 'Turkeys don't vote for Xmas'. Thereafter, according to the 'Marquis of Queersberry' rules all they profess to follow, there can't be another leadership challenge for 12 months: in which time this master of smoke & mirrors will hope to have conned everyone all over again to his electoral invincibility.

To me he's a convoluted lying varlet and always will be.

One thing she does say that makes some sense is that this isn't really the time to depose him. There is an awful lot of stuff going on right now and having the government embroiled in a leadership election is hardly the best way to get us through what is hopefully just a sticky patch.

Jacob Rees Mogg would be my first choice, intellectually superior and very 'old school' but he's too 'posh' for many these days unfortunately. Steve Baker is another good man and so indeed is Lord David Frost, who Boris shafted as Brexit Minister, sorry I'll re-word that Mrs Boris shafted.

Yes stick with the liar you know?

Temporarily yes.

Kick him out and nobody in government will have their minds on anything but electing the new leader until that becomes a done deed. Then comes setting up a new cabinet and shuffling all the jobs around. 6 months with nobody in charge and probably nobody worried about taking the blame for failing to stop the dinghy boys or anything else.

I think if he gets forcibly ejected now there is every chance of a Starmer government following. Possibly assisted by the SNP who will want another referendum on independence which will probably end up getting bought off by more subsidies.
