If you found wads of money hidden inside something that you had purchased from a Charity Shop or online what would you do.?
Would you take it back !!.. send it back !!.. Knowing that the place/person you purchased it from knew nothing about it..!!

'wads' of money would indicate a lot. First I'd check the legality of the notes! Then... I'd probably keep it.
If I could be satisfied there was a legitimate owner, I would return it- otherwise, I would keep it

I've been in a similar position so I know I'd take it all back or send it all back, every last penny.

I'd send it back to from where it came to me, what they do is up to them, if they keep the money instead of tracing the original source of the money then sobeit.
It didn't & it doesn't make me entitled to keep it.

In all honesty I really don't know what I'd do. But I do know while I took time to mull things over, my mouth would be firmly shut. Not a soul would hear about it. Someone could be looking for that money and by someone I mean a crim, who could do whatever to get it back.
If the item had been gift aided and still had the price tag, the person who brought it in could be traced.
i feel so ashamed, i doubt i would sleep ...even in that lovely first class cabin flying to India... catch me if you can...

Very true. We find money occasionally left in bags, or pockets, but never very much, and we don't get lots of gift aid, its not a well off area. It goes straight into a collecting tin.
