Alex

I think it takes 10 years off once you have short hair !

Raven

They were taken a good while ago, I was younger and healthier in those days.

I agree Alex.. Long hair on ladies of a certain age is a 'No,No'
In my opinion..
There are just a handful that could just get away with it..
Sophia Loren being one of them..
I have just checked her out.. She is 90 years old.. !!
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

GrannyMac

Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

I think it also depends on the style, colour, and condition of hair too.  Long hair needs to be in good condition.

Long, thinning, wispy, dry  grey hair is not becoming, I agree.
I have always believed a good cut, and good condition work wonders.

I really do not like to see dyed black hair on older people either.
There is an old gal I see around here, she must be 80-odd,  and she has it dyed jet black.   It looks dreadful.
I think that is kinda sad, too.

That'll be close to the time it takes to grow from shoulders to waist so in a way is spot on

I agree with you Mups, my hair took a lot of my time, being a Leo my mane is my pride n joy. It's always clean, brushed and put into one of several styles I like to use through the day, I kept it neat n tidy very seldom leaving it loose, but if that Caithness Wind decided to be nice and dropped I sometimes did. Long hair is me, and I am more confident n comfortable with it, some people have a comfort blanket......I have my mane. If people don't like it that's fine but in the end it's my choice not their's.
As for the lady with the black hair, I see some in Perth and one here, I agree it no longer suits them, but if that's the way they like it, then so be it.

it would be nice to have enough hair to cut!

Not sure what to do today,  my back aches something rotten.
Think I need Robert Redford or Neil Diamond to come and give me a massage.

Just back from the pool having breakfast, it's great to be able to say that again.  :yay:

Mups if you go swimming jump into a jacuzzi afterwards, sit with your back to one of the jets and it gives your back a lovely massage. I love to feel it thudding into the small of my back.

I love Cheshire.. Such a beautiful town..
