Katie's launderette business took off with a bang
A very useful service, especially for the single man
He can strip off and put his togs inside a big machine

I was in Lidl today which lived up to your standards entirely starting in the car park with some dawk wandering across the main entrance roadway not looking with a phone up to their ears. It went downhill from there.
Lidl, is that a posh Aldi? I believe there is one local but I am not allowed there, apparently they sell plants too, SWMBO says I have too many.

Quote from: ansu on Today at 10:13:29 AMthere are only two parties
There are only two that ever get enough votes to form a government. That's because for each seat whoever gets the most votes becomes the representative and the losing votes count for nothing. Smaller parties like the Liberal Democrats tend to put most of their effort in Parliamentary elections into a restricted number of places so a modest share of the national vote can still reward them with a number of seats while those with a broader geographic reach may get more votes but no seats.

Might be a filter issue unless you have a filtered socket with a phone and router socket which most probably will have by now. More likely to be a line problem though unless you have made any changes phone wise imo.

If you have a phone while the router is connected listen on it for crackling or any other noise such as a hissing sound. Press the zero to get rid of the dial tone. If you hear that call and complain about it rather than the internet. If the internet connection keeps failing call them again and keep calling. They'll probably have a script of you'll need to go through before they'll send anbody out.

Nothing you do on the internet should cause the connection to fail.

Quite interesting. I have never thought that voting could be such a problem for you. At school our English teacher told us that elections in the UK are no problem, as there are only two parties contrary to us.

Computers and Technology / still got problems
Last post by Michael Rolls - Today at 10:08:52 AM
Had a BT engineer call two or three weeks ago and claimed that he had fixed my connection problems - but they are back. For several days now, every time I come on here my connection fails, usually whilst I am the site, but on two occasions the moment that I leave it and attempt to go to another site. I have only managed to complete Wordle twice in the last 10 days (they were the days when my connection failed after I left here. I have taken to looking at my other sites - news, on-line banking, weather, etc., before coming here, and so far none of them have caused any problem. I think that I will just give up on Wordle but will continue to try and come on here and see if that helps.

It's easier than that.  Just don't vote for them.

There are many types of people
Some skinny and some fat
Some think that they are clever
When they are just a prat

Some tell us we know bugger all
And what THEY know is FACT
That we should all be quiet
And these are the PRIZE PRATS

Poor Brian.. If he is a 'crackpot' that is very sad
Just imagine if he was your dad
Beside his tall tales
Even Sunak pales
Maybe he's just a Jack the lad

Sciatico's a piece of work
He puts folks down with a nasty smirk
He just seems to hate the Brits
He reckons we're a load of shits
But when said and done he's just a berk
