Brexit champion Nigel Farage has declared that the "insurgency" against the Conservative Party has begun as Reform UK has surged to its highest-ever polling result.

The snag is the surge is only to 8%. The good news is that it isn't far short of the LibDems who have fallen to 9%

Unfortunately as LibDem support is not spread throughout the realm being concentrated in areas with a high hard of thinking index that 8% would be unlikely to gain a single seat.

But it is a start  :upvote: :upvote: :upvote:

Alex

I had an e-mail from Reform party as they want volunteers to man a town centre stall     Can you imagine me having to be polite to everyone, even arschlochs.   I declined  :yay:

I paid into the Brexit party. Twice in fact. I get their emails. I could never man a stall or go door to door. I get far too annoyed by them and there are plenty around.

Alex

I'm the same, but I did tell them I'd vote for them !

Sheila

Yes, I'd probably vote for them if they had any candidates in our area.  I see they are looking for people to stand in the local elections.  LibDems always get in here and they are very good.  I wouldn't vote for them in the General Election but have been voting for them locally for about 50 years.

I 100% detest their policies and duplicity and wouldn't personally moisten them if they were on fire.

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

One thing is certain, if we carry on voting for the same old parties we will get the WEF. We have to grasp the nettle and bite the bullet in both hands.

Exactly what I have said many times.

The real problem is that most people are afraid to vote for anyone except the parties 'they and their dads' have always voted for.

As I have also said many times, we get what we deserve.  You can't blame the Tories or Labour if stupid people keep voting them in.

Alex

Once you take the plunge like voting for UKIP, the next time is easier.

Raven

That's true Alex, Scotland bit the bullet years back when they let the SNP in, and they've been in ever since.
I know the true blues hate them, but that's not the point, the point is.....We voted away from the Tories, Labour, Liberals. So I don't see why England can't give another party a chance. They can always be voted out again. As can the SNP.

klondike

I have to admit that I once voted liberal  :nooo:

That was following the Heath fiasco. All the rest apart from in Euros it has been Tories. What has a lifetime of me voting Tory together with mostly Tory governments lead to? This complete mess we see now. Never again will I vote for any mainstream party. If there is no alternative on offer I'll not vote at all or spoil my ballot.

Raven

I would vote for the one least likely to get in if need be, but I wouldn't spoil my ballot paper.

klondike

Spoiled ballots are counted and included in the return. It says I wasn't too lazy to vote. Of course it could also say but I was too thick to unless the spoiling is obviously deliberate. Adding "None of the above" on the bottom along with a cross should settle the question.
