Perhaps its physiological when another person smiles at you and makes you feel comfortable talking to that person , some people don't smile not because they are
being unkind but its their nature , as smiles could be misleading giving a wrong impression,
so what is it when a person smiles at you do you take it as being friendly or do you take it as that person has a nice character and thats their way of being natural,
Q what are your thoughts when it comes to smiling and how do you re-act when some one smiles at you,
as usual your answers will make interesting reading.
I smile 😀 And always acknowledge a smile..
Be it man , woman or child..
Willow.. the little girl next door held up a bracelet, made of beads, to show me.. She was very excited ..
' Miss Irene.. look at this..'
I told her how lovely it was..
' when you are 24 I will give it to you'
That's what makes me smile.
It takes more muscles to frown than smile, so why waste energy! I'm a smiler too Scrumpy. When I was young I would look at older women with downturned mouths, two deep lines running into jowls. I want to avoid that look, its scary!
I'm also a smiler, much better to look friendly than grumpy. :yahoo:
I smile and say hello. I usually get a good response. But the further south I go...
