Alright ! Aright !..
I know there are more important things going on.. as people are quick to remind us.. The war in Ukraine .. Petrol.. Gas.. electric.. Foodstuff.. Price rises ..
It was great to see Boris visit the Ukraine... and offer support...

But.. The arrogance of those who (celebrated) a birthday.. leaving party or whatever.. Is not a good look.
'I am sorry.. I have paid the fine'... Paid the fine.!! all 50.pounds of it.. !!
I do hope they are not cheeky enough to put the cost on  'expenses'..
... and they lied/denied all the way through..
Dominic Cummings might even get his wish of bringing the government down!!

Adding it all up Boris is a prat.. But he has got us through some very tricky times..

Now let's talk about Starmer.. errm !!... errm!!...Nothing comes to mind..
Only that he likes a pint of beer... and to talk of the mistakes , never the triumphs, of the opposition.. Never, ever telling us HOW he would do it better... only telling us that he WILL..  Hopefully he will never get a chance..

Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I thought the particular incident they issued the notices to for Boris was a pretty trivial one. Given there are supposed to be 300 party pictures there could well be another fine coming his way and if this has any politics in it saving a juicy one til nearer the May elections would be the way to do most harm.

I have no idea if Starmer likes a pint but he will always take a photo op with one for obvious reasons. If the labour party rules are unchanged then I suspect if he did end up in Number 10 the Marxists in his party would get him replaced by one of their own.

I feel that Brexit was botched. May did the botching but Boris didn't fix it being in too much of a hurry to deliver something. In consequence we still have the damned French protesting they got a raw fishing deal when they should have had no access at all and we have a border in the Irish sea. Not to mention the billions we are still paying into EU coffers.

BTW there is a section called Politics.
Just sayin.

You're a brave man to tell Scrumpy off

klondike

Not brave enough to just move it

Scrumpy

I am so sorry.. Please move it if you wish ..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Starmer doesn't know what a woman is.
Boris said biology decides what a woman is, so he'll do for me.   He's not perfect but he is, at the moment, the best of a bad bunch.  I wish we could move on from this 'partygate' shambles.

I wasn't moaning and it can stay. Our lurker friend can see it then and may even be tempted to comment although I doubt that

Come on Peter. You seem to be around most days and we need more input.

People will not 'move on' from 'this shambles'..
Why should they..?
Lockdown  and rules.. ! Rules that people followed.. Made by those who insisted we follow them..
People died alone.. Saw loved ones through a window ..Couldn't hold the hand of a scared child...
And they were arrogant enough to believe that it didn't affect them..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

I would still vote for Boris.. He is doing a good job in my opinion..
However..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Two newspapers I have no time for, so I care not about their front pages.

Time to move on.
The problem with being retired is that you never get a day off
