Title: Rebus.
Post by: Raven on March 08, 2024, 11:38:56 AM
There's a new series of Rebus to be starting soon BUT, with a new actor playing him. I loved Ken Stott playing him, he was so suited to the part. But I don't know how or if I'll take to the new guy.

I loved Ken Stott in this part, hard to replace him.  The new fella looks ok to me though   :upvote:

Bit like Mark McManus who WAS Taggart, that was another cracking series.

Rebus is the creation of (Sir) Ian Rankin, one of Scotland's best contemporary authors.  I love his books, the setting is Edinburgh and surrounds which makes them even more appealing.  I also thought Ken Stott well cast, but I'll watch out for the new series.

I have only ever seen John Hannah as Rebus - missed the Ken Stott ones.  Read - and loved - the books.
