Nurses strike

Thought of this on my walk this morning.......
Chap rushed up to nurses on picket line outside a hospital,
bleeding badly from a big cut.
"Help me please, put on a bandage to stop the bleeding."
"Can't do that, we are on strike," said a nurse.
"Go home and dial 111," she told him.
"How can they bandage me over the phone?"
"They can't," replied the nurse, "but they will explain to you what the symptoms will be as you bleed to death."
