A lot of flights have been cancelled so I hope he has arrived ok. A friend had a bad experience at Manchester Airport a day or two ago.
Reading glasses are no big deal unless they are way outside the norm.

hi guys, yes ive arrived.... and to prove it i'm here...boom boom..
its as noisy as i remember but hotter
they refused my visa at heathrow...xzats... bloody jobsworths, but i pointed out i was actually head boy, and after two hours of explaining that they didnt get an 'opinion' on visas they condesended to ask the indian embassy, the result is i am bloody sweltered...lol..i havent eaten out yet but i like my hosts cooking... when i last got a taxi to chennai airport it cost arround 280 rupees yesterday it cost 900 for the taxi... diesel is about £1 a litre... from the medical side...lol... i am not peeing as often...lol... stay safe everyone... yes i am laid on my bed under the fan...crabbyob...

I'm guessing toy will soon acclimatise crabbyob. Prepare to enjoy yourself. If you feel too hot just read Phil's post about his central heating setting and that will get you shivering for sure :grin:

yes i had a few Bicardies last night and i slept like a log... i slept about twenty of the last 24 hours, playing catch up, they were all surprised just how white i am.... after reading Alexs advice i went and got a glass of water, which in itself is quite funny as they use the big upside down containers we used to see in the movies, when you draw aq glass off a big bubble explodes in the container, wonderful stuff, i think i am having Veg Kadai for supper, i tried to get on earlier with no luck but got strait on thisevening, its gone ten at night and my dentist is still working...

i brought a lovely cut glass decanter for her hubby and the stopper got smashed in transit... such a pity it was a lovely thing, ah well back to the charity shops when i return...
