This has been so sad to follow, his mother must be distraught. The machine was turned off this morning and Archie died two hours later.
I thought to myself, it must be bad enough to lose a baby, but to lose a child you've cared for and loved for 12 years is beyond words.
I heard that he strangled himself. A very sad case indeed.
I've no idea what happened to him, they didn't give any information at the time.
The Blackout Challenge.

so dreadfully sad
The pain of his lovely mum must be beyond comprehension..
The poor parents. Ticktock should be banned not taking down stuff like that, it's a dangerous site. Couldn't they be prosecuted for some sort of crime? don't they have a duty of care to their users?
There's no evidence that it was a challenge that went wrong, but I suppose it's easier for his parents to believe he was doing a challenge that went wrong rather than not seeing he was depressed & decided to end it all, which is the other possibility.
Interesting..

According to this article it's not just poor young Archie, two young children also died in America doing this challenge, there have been other dangerous challenges too. I stick by what I said Ticktock should be banned, it's evil.
