I got fed up scrolling back to the top of word game threads so I put a link in the page footer to top of page. Then a long forgotten browser trick made its way to the front of my brain. All that's needed is to hit the home key. Unless there is some way of doing that on a tablet though it will still be handy.
I'd have liked to have put it at the bottom of the last post but that would involve a less trivial change. As it is it's only a template change but may need a slight scroll down to be visible.

Theres a new link at the bottom of every page that will take to to the top of the page.
You can get to top of page anyway on laptops and desktops by hitting the Home key.
Saves scrolling up or going through several backs.

I've always hit REPLY and that takes me back to the top, even if I don't reply :hmm:
Odd mine doesn't and I've not set anything that I recall. It just shows my post.
Given my sausage fingers it's as well it does. My next 3 posts are usually correcting typos.
REPLY takes me back to the top, where I again click on ' show unread posts since last visit '
I found a setting in my profile I had set. Just testing.
