If, and it's a big if, she was ever found alive would she recognise her family. Would she even want to return to them, she was maybe stolen for a rich childless couple and now only knows them as mum n dad.

Why is this case getting so much attention.......Still? Wee Madeleine is not the only child to have disappeared, you never hear anything about others.

I've studied this case in some depth right from the start & I can tell you that it would be a very unwise person who spoke about what they are confident had happened.

Most people only know what the tabloids tell them happened.

One person who spoke out, publicly, against the McCanns was found dead in a hotel room after an overdose.

Suicide was ruled as the cause.

The Portugese detective in charge of the case produced a short account of what he had found after he was forced out his job. The McCanns sued him for libel and initially won but lost on appeal. It isn't a very good read but lays out what the bloke investigating it considered to be the answer.

There is a whole plethora of stuff on the internet that goes into analysis of the few photos and investigations of timelines plus much more.  None of it seems to mention a German paedo though. I don't expect them to come up with anything and can't see why they keep looking or why we are still funding a UK operation too even now.

In my opinion the UK police have to keep looking to keep the opinion that she's been abducted & is still alive going.

Colin Sutton, who arrested Bellfield, was asked to take charge of Operation Grange but he refused because he was told he'd have an extremely narrow & controlled remit & only to work on the abduction theory.

A KEY witness in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has revealed the chilling moment Christian B "confessed" to snatching her.

Former pal-turned-police informer Helge B was the person who identified prime suspect Christian B to cops in connection with Madeleine's disappearance.

It seems (as we assumed) the Germans believe the word of a criminal who is pointing to Brueckner and saying he adducted Madeleine McCann without concrete evidence to back that up. They have been hunting for a couple of years now to find any evidence  and have obviously failed.

The German police will have swept a load of the informant's crimes under the carpet & he now has to earn his continued freedom by putting people in the frame, Brueckner being the main one.

I do find it concerning how the police can persist, so vigorously, in trying to frame someone for a crime that doesn't exist.
