I think that was shown in The Shining and that Scrumpy is correct. Could be another too I suppose. It has been a while since I watched it.

He was my choice as well, because of his style of clothing.
Yes he looks out of place but the story was that an earlier winter caretaker at the Overlook went nutty and killed all of his family and that is him bearing a strong resemblance to Jack who goes nutty in the photo of the closing down ball.
Maybe whoever photoshopped Nicholson onto an old picture had a bit of fun and put himself in too?

I'm equally sure that that is a picture of Stephen King, the author of The Shining..It sure ain't Jack Nicholson..

Well I'm totally bemused. Maybe I read it wrong but zoony initially said the bloke in front was Stephen King. Then he said it is Jack Nicholson after all followed by a cryptic comment about Stepen King. I put it down to drunkenness. The problem being is that his or mine?
The one they are saying is the time traveller is the one photoshopped in a few rows back from Jack and wearing a black shirt. The first picture here with him in is an obvious fake as it says New Year Ball and the whole pont about the Overlook is that it has to shut down over winter.
Ah twigged what zoony meant - he is saying that the "time traveller" is King. Don't think my eyes are good enough for that. Jack is always distinctive but King not so much.
