Just about the only TV I watch these days is Farage on catch up. Normally I skip the bits where they are promoting other shows but didn't skip it all today and caught Dan Wooton promoting his. I immediately thought he must be gay, googled and yes he's gay. So is my Gaydar sensitive or do they start to advertise in their voices once they have come  out. If his voice didn't change then why the hell did he need to "come out" as to me he was as camp as Larry Grayson.

I usually spot a woman who is gay.. Perhaps being female I am sensitive to this..
The same could be said for males I suppose..
I am not comfortable with gay female.. prefer gay men..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

It's these tiny "different" signals that are hard wired into our brains that lead to many prejudices. Does it really matter to me that the bloke is gay? No. It still sits there in my head though and there is nothing I can do about that.

crabbyob

does Farage have a set time?... i never manage to catch him...

klondike

Mon to Thurs 7 to 8. Third(ish) row down on catchup it you have the app. He's been slagging off the Tories and Boris quite a bit of late (all well deserved IMO) but I suspect he is gearing up for a possible return. Not many "characters" left now in politics so he might make a go of it himself but there is no chance for a new party and I can't see there being one unless our voting system gets a revamp.

crabbyob

i seem to remember reading he had stood as a tory candidate a long time ago but failed, i do wish he was a socialist, because i think if we replaced starmer wi Farage then the tories would really be in trouble...

klondike

If the Tories replaced Boris with Farage.....
They might get on with doing some of the stuff they damned well promised they would.

If I'd wanted either LibDems or Greens I'd have voted LibDem or Green as it is it seems we have a combo with very few having voted for either.

crabbyob

and with this big majority they can get anything thru, if the whips sort out those bl00dy snowflakes

Dan Wootton is pretty obviously gay isn't he ? but you could think Jacob Rees Mogg is a bit limp wristed, but he has about 10 kids !
My biggest shock was discovering Rock Hudson was gay, geez I was so in love with that man

I can usually spot the gay blokes, its the lesbian women i can't always identify. I have therefore taken it upon myself to study many video's over hundreds of hours to educate myself. It's really hard at times and i often have to rewatch in slow motion in case i've missed any of the finer details. Such is my dedication for this understanding i can be up until the real small hours eagerly toiling away, seeking a climax to my quest. I feel i still have a long way to go however....  :embarrassed:

It's never happened nor likley to at my time of life, been chatted up by a woman.  Makes me feel quite sick.  And I know my husband would feel just the same if a bloke made advances.  I guess they know each other somehow though.   Never knew of all these weirdos when we were young.

Scrumpy

They were there Jacqueline.. But they knew who to approach and who not to.
Boys were told to 'Man up' .. and 'Boys don't cry'..
I think it is easier to tell parents these days because they are more understanding..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Cos they weren't constantly in our faces and feted on tv like they are today.. Whatever is said, in my mind it isn't normal and never will be.

I got touched up by a shop assistant in a clothes shop when I was about 16 or 17. He just got swore at but had I been older he'd have had something more physical.

I don't think straights need worry at all as gays will have an excellent eye for kindred spirits and know how to make an approach without risking a thumping.
