Sounded interesting but there are a lot of assertions there about the state of play in Russia today and I'd want somebody I'd heard of to back them up.

Assuming that were true they are going to need to invade a lot of places in the next 5 years to achieve security and it looks like they could be stuck at the first hurdle already. Who would have believed that a month into this they look like they are failing and resorting to desperate measures which are not working either.

IMO it's a very strange stance on the situation, but as I said, I found it interesting. Like you I'd need a lot of background before I'd believe it.

Searching is a problem as I keep getting results on current life expectancy which is useless. You need to know what age they currently die at or life expectancy from back in the 50s onwards which it seems was quite low compared to other countries.
