I put gas central heating on for one hour this morning.. Boiled a kettle with just enough water for tea.. Toast.. frying pan of water for poached eggs.. radio on.. also fridge freezer.. 
.. and I used hair dryer for for a couple of mins... 

I must owe them a bomb..
  I'M NOT WASHING TOMORROW..
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Gawd that's madness, they must find a way to get prices back down to affordable.

I am so angry and sad for poor pensioners like you guys who have worked all their lives have to think twice about turning on heating, kettles, washing machines etc. 

This has been said before, but our governments of all parties have taken their eye off the ball over the years, in their position they should have thought of contingency plans for the most unexpected scenarios such as now, what's the point of a government that doesn't?

And of course, I will say this yet again, 6.8 million pounds a day spent on nice warm hotel rooms for the scum that come over on dinghies, while pensioners are afraid to turn their heating on, it's criminal.
