I'm no fan of Rooney but he's manager at Derby and the club is in financial difficulties and possible liquidation. 
At Christmas, Rooney paid staff wages himself - not the players, just backroom and admin staff.  "People say" he's a really nice fella, pity he's a toffee  :cool:

I don't know what a 'toffee' is Alex..
