Very much like they the Unions are trying to get the power they had in the seventies. Container port workers have been offered a 7% pay rise, plus £500, but the union bosses refused it with out consulting the workers. The only people it won't hurt is the union master who will carry on collecting their large salaries.
Looks like modernization for British railways going to go ahead, while strike action taking place. Inflation high pay rises will not be allowed. Sorry to say many will lose their jobs and have to find jobs else where. The union masters have brought this situation to an head.
