I wonder what the position is if someone in England calls Yousaf a non-ethnic Scottish tosser.

The most disturbing part of this Bill is the following.

Sometimes victims or witnesses of hate crime don't feel comfortable reporting the incident to the police. They might be more comfortable reporting it to someone they know.

Police Scotland works in partnership with a number of organisations and groups, to take reports, known as third party reporting centres.

Third party reporting centres could be housing associations, victim support offices and voluntary groups. Staff have been trained to recognise hate crimes and help a victim or witness to submit a report to the police.

Third party reports can be made without giving your name. However, that might affect how much investigation we can do. Find your nearest Third Party Reporting Centre.

It seemed impossible to imagine a more shoddy administration than Sunak's. However this latest Scottish regurgitation of socialist madness is it. At the end of the day, the people we vote for to run the country should be what we expect.
The Scots seem to want to vote only for the SNP.
Perhaps they should try someone different, whilst they still have the ability to do so.

It is the same in England, and the whole UK, for that matter.
We last voted for the Conservatives.  They have made a mess of the country over the past several years, so what should we do now?
It seems that the majority will now vote in Labour.  Perhaps they have forgotten what that party did the last time they were in power: BLiar and Brown.

At the end of the day, if we don't like what is going on and want change, we should consider carefully the options available to us.

You are correct, if I lived down south I too would vote for change, as I did here when we gave the SNP a chance.
Now since our FM has changed I don't know what to do, none of the others are worth voting for IMO, it's a heartbreaking mess.

Yes, I fulsomely concur. We are collectively united by a common mistrust across both our Nations, where politicians have demonstrated dishonesty and hypocrisy to unknown and shameful levels.

They are 'all the same' and unworthy of even bothering to waste the time and effort turning out for ...

Reform may possibly stand in Scotland!

But would any Scots vote for them?  
I honestly think that they would benefit us all, on both sides of the border.

Scotland has always been more left wing than much of England.  The SNP mainly took votes from Labour.   Although we will both vote for reform, I've resigned myself to an incoming Labour government.

With regard to hate crimes, I know it's rarer now, but being English 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 in Scotland hasn't always been popular.  I wonder how seriously the police will take anti English rhetoric aimed at individuals?
