It is a bit trickier depending on ISP now as magnetdl got put on the blocklist of some ISPs. That's easy enough to get around by using free VPNs but easier still to use the other source of magnet links I mentioned further on - torlook. - https://letschat.club/index.php?topic=664.msg11922#msg11922

Zoony didn't like using that and used a paid for VPN instead. I don't actually run the torrents myself as I use https://real-debrid.com/ to run them for me (requires a cheap subscription) as that saves time and removes even the slight risk of being chased for doing hookey downloading.

Using downloads makes BBC stuff available without using the BBC iplayer and there are never adverts in any of them. I only use catchup for GBNews.

I assume that's what crabby had. I don't know anything about them but crabby liked his. 

I have put Kodi on Firesticks and they worked well at first but then the streams got blocked and the thing needed updating. I would hope that what you are looking at would be better.

I have been downloading stuff for years but avoided torrents. Then all the putlocker sites and forums giving the URLs to their content got closed. I was using realdebrid already as it gave high speed access to the putlockers so switched over to having it run the torrents. Most of the time it already has and you get an immediate download. That suited me so I never investigated streaming boxes.

I'm finding the telly really boring just now, been spending a lot of time on YouTube in the evenings.

Watched Top Gun Maverick and it was entertaining enough but anybody who liked realism in flims would be pulling their hair out. Suspension of disbelief mandatory.
