You either love them or loathe them..
I never thought I would be wearing them so much.. They are so comfortable and easy to slip on..
Celebrities always seem to wear them.. even with suits.! and they look fine..
I wear them with skirts and frocks.. and feel confident when doing so.. I have street cred..!!
  Do you wear them..?
Don't ask me.. I know nuffink..

Michael Rolls

Not really. Prefer ordinary shoes in cold/cool weather - usually slip-ons - and sandals in hot, Do still have a pair of trainers somewhere - must be several years since I last wore them

My feet, are worn out....

The "blister pack", padding has gone. I walk on my bones, and have arthritis in there too!
Frankly. I would have lovely feet, if I didn't need to stand on them so often....

My only, comfortable footwear, is well padded trainers.
As you slide down the banister of life.
May the splinters never point in the wrong direction.

Outdoor walking type for me - not sure they class as trainers. Then again how many wearing trainers train in them. I get them from places like Blacks or Costwold outdoors. I have 3 pairs of 'proper' shoes. Regalr Clarke's brogues for freelance photo jobs if it's a formal event - and a couple of pairs of posh ones that Mum gave me when Dad died back in 2019. Also a pair of proper running shoes from when I did the couch to 5k thing in 2019 and ended up doing Saturday morning ParkRuns. A nasty bout of Covid in April 2020 ended that. I doubt I'll be fit enough to run/jog again.

TREBOR

I have never owned a pair.

hugh

I wear nothing else but golf summer shoes which are trainers apart from the soles. The tops in many cases very smart looking.

As Scrumpy said you either love them or loathe them !   I've got a pair somewhere which I wore to the gym some 20 odd years ago.  They're so ugly looking and my feet look about size 10 in them, so no not for me I'm afraid.  I wear comfortable sandals in the summer and shoes or boots in the winter.

hugh

Ladies golf trainers in some cases you would not know they were trainers Alex. They are very smart looking, but expensive at around £100.

Alex

I'd want two pairs for that price !

I often wear trainers, prefer the slip on type with memory foam soles like Skechers.  Boots and sandals too, but sadly high heels are no more.
Its not how old you are, but how you are old. 💖

Alex

No heels for me either unfortunately.  I've sent an e-mail to ask the height of these heels, no reply yet though, I really like them, nice for summer but the wedge may be too high, Rieker

One of the saddest moments for Veronica as her disability progressed was when heels were no longer an option
