That rescue was a toughie!

Yep. Odd we solved it in a different sequence. I think I got baulked on a couple with alternate letters both possible but that may have been a different puzzle or even a different day.

Just checked back and I did  demur/femur and skill/swill Probably would have been OK if I had solved other words first. I have a silly tendency of not taking it slower.
