ooh, you show offs!     

I use the same 3 start words every day. Sometimes I have to throw in a 4th as they reveal so little. Today the first 2 gave me 4 letters with 3 in the right place so it didn't require rocket surgery to get to the answer. 

I don't start thinking about it much til after I've used the 4th word so it's rare I get it in fewer letters than most others and when I do it's luck.

I use the same start word and, depending what it throws up (if anything) either the same second word or one of a choice of potential second guesses

Mike, I think you and Tabby use the same first word. You get the same results with it. Mine are all a bit random, but I make sure all five vowels are in the first two words.
