Yep. 90% luck and 20% mathematics as per usual.

I just use the same 3 words for both that cover most of the commonest letters. If I see an obvious one after one or two on wordle I'll give it a try but I rarely even look at quordle til the first three are in.  Solving one in 2 or 3 rarely helps the others and you may have a more certain option with the three words in.

That means I usually won't get wordle in less than four unless I get lucky. Quordle I can usually do as 4 5 6 7 unless it's especially tricky.
