John Denver?  If that is a recent photo, he has a good head of hair or a very expensive wig!

Google knows.
I was surprised when I found him.
I was past being a little child when he came to my attention though.

I remember dear old Zoony commenting about John Denver when I said how much I liked 'Annie's Song' that he was a 'great singer. lousy pilot'. At least he only killed himself, but I read the accident report (not the official AIB report, but what appeared in the press) and it makes for incredulity

just looked him up on Wiki and there is a synopsis of the crash report there. The plane was new to him and he was unable to switch tanks in flight so effectively ran out of fuel - ridiculous way to lose one's life

Anyway, apart from all that, of whom is the picture?

A John Lennon song was a hit for him.

I saw him at Perth's City Hall back in the 60s. We used to have a well known singer/group there on a Saturday night for the main act during the dancing....... Happy days.  :cowboy:
Saw a lot of the great artists there.
