Its a funny thing when ever our ears go red and then some one or other will say some ones talking about you,

when some one sneezes, comes the saying once a kiss twice a wish and so on ,

if some one trips up then comes that person must have two left feet.

Q; what do you remember  of these sayings and waht else do you recall,

Wandering Walter

I have always been confused by the saying " She's no better than she ought to be " what the heck does that mean "

Michael Rolls

always say 'Good morning, Mr. Magpie' when you see one - come to think of it, I haven't seen a magpie anywhere close in years

My uncle used to say 'if a crow's on its own, it's a raven'.

Mentioned that in PF a while back - favourite saying of my paternal grandfather who, as far as I am aware, never ventured north of Bermondsey in his life

"Cheap at half the price!" - well - yeah?
"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer."
